Advanced Notice of Proposed Rulemaking on Electronic Records and Electronic Signatures
The FDA is aware that automated systems are being used more extensively in the industries it regulates as well as within the agency itself. The FDA publishes an advance notice of a proposed rulemaking whereby the FDA would consider electronic records and electronic signatures to be used under certain circumstances.
